Math Class

Welcome to our math class!  Students will attend a math block (2 periods) daily, Monday - Friday.  Click the schedule tab on the top of this page to view the daily block periods and specials for BAKER Homeroom.  

Math Series - This is our seventh year at Dwyer using Ready Math for 5th grade.  Students will have access to a math workbook as well as an online version of the series called iReady.  In iReady, students can access the workbook, take assigned comprehension checks or assessments, and complete lessons designed specifically for each student based on their diagnostic testing at the beginning of the school year.  iReady is accessed through the Clever Icon on the upper right-hand corner of the Chrome browser.

Math Class- Students should come prepared daily with a PENCIL, workbook, math folder, Chromebook, ThinkPad (I will provide these), headphones, and a 5-subject notebook.  Daily routines will be discussed with students and shared with parents at our Back to School Night.  

Daily, a hyperdoc (Google document with links) is posted in Google Classroom.  This document includes daily goals, standards, homework, and other important information.
