"A day without laughter, is a day wasted." My students learn very quickly that I live by this motto. Laughing helps you to relax and it triggers the release of endorphins which help you to becomes a more active learner.
This is the start of my 20th year at Stony Brook School. I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade. Presently I am the math teacher for 5th grade.
I earned a BA in Elementary Education and Psychology from Caldwell University and an M.Ed S.P. E. with Teacher of Students with Disabilities from Centenary University.
I love spending time with my husband, my two boys and our adorable Belgium Malinoise. Vacations always involve a beach of any kind! Swimming, going to the gym and reading are my favorite activities. I enjoy watching all sports. I LOVE teaching and watching children GET a new concept!
