5th Grade Teacher at Stony Brook
A native of Rockaway, NJ, Mr. Titus graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in History. He later earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Centenary College in 2014. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Technology at the American College of Education (ACE), focusing on the integration of technology in learning and sports development.
Mr. Titus has extensive experience in education, coaching, and sports development. He served as the Head Volleyball Coach at Caldwell University for eight years, leading the team to a CACC Tournament Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. He now works as the Associate Director of Sport Development for USA Volleyball in the NJ/NY region, focusing on coach education, athlete development, and expanding volleyball opportunities, including adaptive and sitting volleyball programs.
Since 2022, Mr. Titus has been a Clinical Faculty Member at Montclair State University, mentoring and supporting future educators. He brings a passion for instructional technology and adaptive sports to his work, striving to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences for all students.
