ABOUT ME
During the 2026–2027 school year, I will be entering my third year as a Flex teacher, working with second and third-grade students. I have been fortunate to be part of the Rockaway Township School District since 2019, and throughout my time here, I have learned so much from the supportive staff and resilient students I have had the pleasure of working with.
I look forward to another wonderful year at Stony Brook and to continuing to help my students grow both academically and personally. My hope is to teach them not only the curriculum, but also the confidence, independence, and know-how they need to navigate life on their own.
Our classroom is built on a foundation of optimism, community, and calm, creating a welcoming environment where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.
During our morning meetings, we always begin class by saying:
“We are responsible, we are safe, and we try our best”
This is intended to remind students of the importance in taking responsibility for their actions, prioritizing everyone’s safety, and always giving their best effort.
