Teacher Info

I have been in the Rockaway Township School District for 27 years, but I have been teaching for a total of 35 years.

I started my teaching career at St. Peter's Catholic School in Belleville, NJ, where I taught 3rd and 4th grade for 3 years. I then taught 3rd grade for 5 years at Gill St. Bernard's Private Preparatory School in Peapack, Gladstone.

Presently, I am a 5th-grade ELA teacher at Stony Brook School, and  I am a member of the SciP Committee. I am also a former Language Arts District Articulator and curriculum writer for the district.

Education:

*Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in English from Caldwell College/University

*MS in Education with a focus on Integrating Technology in the Classroom from Walden University.

I currently live in Denville with my husband John, my son Zachary, and our five cats: Luna, Holly, Smoochie, Petey, and Callie. In addition to teaching, you can usually find me on the soccer field, watching my son play or referee a game.
