Hello there parents and students! Welcome to 3rd Grade! Buckle up for a wild year! 

Crazy enough…I am currently in my 22nd year of teaching. All of which, have been right here at Birchwood School. I hold my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and my Masters in the Diverse Classroom. My goal is to be the teacher I want my kiddos to have! It is my hope that each student I teach has a positive experience in developing, learning, and growing as a child. This journey should be magical. Let us embrace and celebrate every success your child has and collaborate to overcome any struggles. We are a team.

Rockaway holds a special place in my heart. I was born and raised here and now live a couple of towns away with my husband and two children. Madelyn is in 7th and Vincent is in 10th Grade. So, I truly do get the parent side! We are often, okay more than often, at the ice hockey rink or lacrosse field. Family time is our special time. When I need a minute to myself, I like going for long, quiet runs (of course, while blasting country music).
