This handbook includes information such as our Medication Policy, Food Allergies, and what to do when your child is ill (when to keep them home and for how long).
The Health Services page will provide you access to all Health Office forms, such as Medication Authorization forms, Asthma Action Plans, and the like.
I have been the School Nurse at Stony Brook since March 2020. Prior to coming to Stony Brook, I was a School Nurse at Wilson School in West Caldwell, and spent 19 wonderful years there. When the opportunity arose to come to Stony Brook School, it was too good to pass up. I am thrilled to be here at Stony Brook, and be part of the community that I live in, and love.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Scranton, and both my School Nurse Certification and Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) in School Nursing at Seton Hall University.
I am active in the Essex County School Nurses Association, and for many years served on the Executive Board in the roles as Secretary, Scholarship Chairperson, and President. I am also a member of the Morris County School Nurses Association, NJ State School Nurses Association and National Association of School Nurses.
Please feel free to reach out to me at any time, with any health concerns you may have for your child. The more I know about your child, the better care I can give them while at school.
