Mrs. Garabrant is an Academic Intervention Program teacher who provides K -5 supplemental reading and math support in a small group setting.
Christine Garabrant dedicates herself to professionalism while entering her 20th year in the Academic Intervention Program with Rockaway Township. She collaborates with teachers to support students with supplemental specialized instruction in grades K-5 in both Language Arts and Math. Her small group reading approaches individualize and utilize methodology from many different multi-sensory and Orton Gillingham programs.
Mrs. Garabrant holds her Educational Degree from St. Elizabeth University with a coherent sequence in Psychology. She is certified Pre-K through 8th grade. Her specialized training and/or certifications includes Reading Recovery, Torgesen Program for Reading, Project Read, IRLA -Independent Reading Level Assessment/Foundational Skills Toolkit, Lindamood-Bell, and Wilson Language Basics- Words Their Way & Fundations.
