Hello! My name is Chloe Silva. I am the academic intervention teacher at KDM. This is my third year teaching in Rockaway Township. I graduated from Rider University in May 2016 with certifications in elementary and special education. In May 2020, I completed my Orton Gillingham Teacher certification after a rigorous two year training program. I am excited to implement multi-sensory reading instruction with my students this year!
Working with children has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. To me, being an educator is the most rewarding and important job I could ever have. I am dedicated to making a difference in the life of every student I encounter and helping them to find their strengths and passions like I have found mine in teaching. Every day, I strive to instill in my students that we work hard together towards common goals that will better ourselves and our communities.
