My name is Amy Gallagher. I have been teaching in Rockaway Township since 2000. I grew up in Rockaway Township and attended DBO and Copeland. I graduated from Morris Knolls and then I went on to attend The College of New Jersey where I received my degree in both Elementary Education and Psychology. I also have a Master's in Education with a specialization in teaching Reading. During my career I taught at Copeland for four years and I have been teaching first grade ever since. Outside of teaching I am also involved with coaching all star cheerleading at Star Athletics in Boonton, NJ. In my spare time I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with family. I am thrilled to be part of the DBO family in the amazing community of Rockaway Township.
