My Role at SB

As the school counselor at Stony Brook Elementary, the foundation of my role in the building is to help support the academic, social/emotional/relational and career goals of each student. Connecting with families and fostering relationships with teachers helps not only our school environment, but the experience of each individual child; a home-school connection is essential to providing effective education. There is a great need to focus on our students' mental health, socialization, stress & anxiety relief, and coping skills throughout the school year.  At the top of this webpage are links separated by need to different resource pages with activities, ideas, and articles.  More links will be added throughout the year and I am hopeful these resources can help support you and your family!
