Golden Apple Teacher, Musician, Father, and professional Nerf Gun stuntman:
I've been teaching since 2004. I taught 5th grade two years in the Harlem district, and 4th and now 5th grade at Whitman Post. I received a bachelor's in elementary education from Rockford University, and my masters in education from National Louis University. I was also a Golden Apple Recipient in 2018. I'm an avid tech addict, glorified geek, and musician. When I'm not teaching or playing music, I am spending time with Mrs. Tuula and our two boys ,Grayson and Emerson. Life is about mistakes, changes, and how we deal with them. My hope is to teach students to succeed at each of those, and to view life as more than just a "straight line".
