What do NJHS members do?
Volunteer at school and community events
Organize fundraisers and projects to help those in need
Provide support to local organizations, such as The Rockton Food Pantry, Gigi’s Playhouse, Hoo Haven, nursing homes, etc.
Motivate students to uphold strong character and grades
Service Hour Requirements:
NJHS members will be required to perform a total of 10 service hours and one leadership service project. Five service hours need to be in the community (at least two separate events or organizations) and five service hours need to be through the Rockton School District or Stephen Mack Middle School (at least two separate events) .
Complete a leadership service project
Document all service hours and the leadership service project. Take pictures of service and submit the pictures to be used by NJHS.
