Late work is accepted until the assessment on that topic (exceptions for absences). Once it is past the due date, it will be entered into TeacherEase as a 0, and an automated email will be sent out. Once the assignment is turned in, the 0 will be replaced with the new grade. Starting in the 2nd quarter there will be a 10% deduction for late work.

At the end of each week, students that have no missing work will be able to attend an extra recess during our usual study hall time. Students who do have missing work will have study hall as usual, and they may join the extra recess whenever they complete their work.

If a student is absent, they have as many days to make up their work as days that were missed.

Any daily assignment (not a test/quiz) can be corrected for a grade increase if it is a D or F (76% or below).  The two scores will be averaged together to produce a new final grade for that assignment.  The cut off score is 77% for corrected work.
