Kirk, born and raised in the great state of Texas, is a blues/rock lead guitarist whose playing is profoundly shaped by the iconic styles of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page and Miles Davis.
Kirk refined his craft under the mentorship of top professors from Berklee College of Music, where he earned his B.A Performing Guitar where he studied jazz, blues, and rock in one of the world’s most rigorous university guitar programs. His studies and training provided him with a comprehensive understanding of fretboard layout, advanced techniques, and theoretical applications, forming the foundation for his unique teaching methods and musical compositions.
Specializing in blues and rock guitar, music theory, songwriting, and the Nashville Number System, Kirk combines passion, focus, mental discipline, and perseverance in his educational approach. He tailors each lesson to the individual needs and comprehension levels of his students, ensuring they grasp the theoretical concepts and techniques necessary to reach their musical goals.
