I was born and raised in California and for as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to teach elementary students.  I believe in educating the whole child academically, socially and emotionally by building a community within our classroom where all students feel safe and supported.  I have a passion for creating experiences in the classroom that provide students with opportunities to engage and connect with the curriculum in authentic and meaningful ways.  

Some of the things I enjoy are traveling, reading, walking,  exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends, and  of course teaching!
