Amusing and educational, this tour is the perfect way to introduce art to children ages 5 and older and the adults who tag along with them.

For the long weekend we will be exploring moons! Come to Design lab for a “Hide and Seek” moon activity where you will use binoculars to find hidden objects on a moon. Stay to learn more about what materials make up the moons in the solar system and investigate the characteristics of an icy moon surface.
Did you know Earth’s Moon is only one of over 100 moons in our solar system? Join us as for a special planetarium show at 1:00PM & 3:00PM as we journey to other planets and examine their natural satellites.

Join us in creating earrings, bracelets, ornaments, keychains, and more! All the items in whatever colors you choose and all the items with a special saying - in BINARY. Learn about binary, encoding, ASCII codes, and more at this month's STEAM-o-torium.
There will be enough supplies for participants to take home materials if they are unable to attend for the entire program.

- Watch paleontologists prepare real fossils
- Dig in our Dino Pit and try to uncover some yourself
- See exploding watermelons, freezing flowers, and other experiments with liquid nitrogen
- Make slime
- Build a dinobot at the robotics booth
- Design with our 14,000 Legos©
- Make a hat or a puppet
- Get your face painted
- Tie-dye a shirt (extra fee for materials)
- Tinker at our MakerSpace
- Make a bat house (while supplies last)
- Visit the Dino Store - cool science things, fossilized dino droppings, beautiful minerals and more!
- See a Planetarium show (the shows are first-come, first-seated; ages 8 and up, please)
