AR Sandbox
Description
A specialized software from UC Davis uses the technology of an XBOX 360 Kinect to scan and measure the landscape of the kinetic sand in the sandbox. A projector displays this data to show a topographic map, complete with color-coded elevation and contour lines. RCPS currently has two AR sandboxes that are transported between buildings, one of which was made by ERHS students in spring of 2022.
