recommended for 8th grade but is very open for 7th grade
Must haves:
Flight Log for 2 airplanes
Sketches
Participants create a glider that stays in flight for the greatest elapsed time. Students must provide own safety glasses. Gliders will be launched from a catapult that is provided onsite. Students bring documentation portfolio with all components, and assembled glider for testing at Regional Fair.
