About Me

I am so excited to be the librarian at MES! Here are a few fun facts about your school librarian!

1. I LOVE spending time with my family! Even though I love being a librarian, being a mom is my favorite job. :-) 

2. I am a runner! I enjoy running for fun and have even run many races.  I've run races from 5k's all the way to ultra marathons and everything in between.  

3. Dogs are my favorite animals.

4. The beach is my favorite place.  However, the mountains are comforting and feel like home. Ocracoke, NC is my favorite beach.

5. I do not like coffee.  It smells so good but I do not enjoy drinking it. 

6. I do however, love Dr. Pepper! If it wasn't bad for me I'd drink it like water!

7. I love Disney and fairy tales but I also really enjoy nonfiction stories that tell about a person overcoming insurmountable odds and of course true crime. 

8. I do not like cold weather.

9. Basketball is my favorite sport. I love UVA Men's College Basketball!

10. Sunflowers are my favorite flowers.
