Blue Ridge Community College has 3 main purposes:

• CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION degrees and certificates

  • Associates of Applied Science Degree (AAS)

    • 2-year degree designed for those who want to immediately enter the workforce upon completion of degree

  • Career Studies Certificate (CSC)

    • can be completed in 1-2 semesters

• COLLEGE TRANSFER degrees

  • Associates of Arts & Science (AA&S)

    • 2-year degree designed for those who want to complete most of their general education requirements before transferring to a 4-year college/university to complete a Bachelors of Arts & Science

  • Associates of Science (AS)

    • 2-year degree designed for those who want to complete most of their general education requirements before transferring to a 4-year college/university to complete a Bachelors of Arts & Science
