“Everything” Tucker C.
In the Geometry in Construction fusion class, students learn by doing. It is currently the only hands-on math course available at BHS. Students engage in hands-on projects exposing them to practical skills in building and carpentry trades. Students also learn the concepts of Geometry through the context of its uses in construction however no previous construction experience is necessary. Students earn 1.0 credit for Geometry and 1.0 credit for Construction Technology after successful completion of both semesters. Students interested in taking this class or who have questions about the course should speak to their school counselor.
The BHS Geometry in Construction program is built upon 5 "cornerstones."

Teamwork - As a team we can do more, become more, and learn from each other.
Professionalism - Creating punctual, dependable, respectful, hard working, and competent students with an eye for craftsmanship.
