Auditions

Auditions and Drumline Camp will be held on July 27th (8:30-11:30) July 29th-August 1st from (9:30-11:30) each day at Rockhurst High school. Please wear tennis shoes, as some days we will include marching outside.

The audition process will consist of students playing through basic exercises at various tempos, as well as playing through the audition piece.

The best way to prepare for auditions would be to take private lessons from me or a local percussion instructor through the summer. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like more information on this.

The material below needs to be prepared up to tempo for the auditions during the first day of drumline mini camp. Please prepare the music on the instrument that you are wanting to audition for. (You are welcome to audition on more than one instrument.)
