About Mrs. Hall
Mrs. Hall is delighted to be back with the Rockford Area Schools community as a Theater Teacher. With a rich background in theatre education, she brings a deep passion for fostering creativity and self-expression through the arts.
Education:
High School: Randolph Schools
Bachelor of Arts in Theater: Gustavus Adolphus College
Master of Education (M.Ed.): University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
Experience:
Teaching Artist, Disney Musical in Schools: In this role, Mrs. Hall provided guidance and mentorship to school teams, helping them produce engaging Disney musicals. They facilitated rehearsals covering acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft, empowering educators to lead successful productions.
Director, Randolph High School: Mrs. Hall utilized their expertise in body movements, gestures, and speech to instruct students on script reading, blocking, and vocal inflection, enhancing their dramatic abilities and stage presence.
Assistant Speech Coach, St. Peter Schools/Randolph Schools: She coordinated and directed dramatic performances, leading our team to advance to section and state tournaments consistently.
Founder and Director, Summer Theatre Camp at Randolph School/Rockford: Mrs. Hall established and continues to direct the school’s first theatre camp for 2nd-6th graders. The camp offers a comprehensive introduction to theatre through singing, dancing, acting, and art activities.
Actor Educator, Climb Theatre: Mrs. Hall performed educational plays and classes that teach valuable life lessons and contributed to digital movie production and editing.
Kids Club Coordinator, YouthWorks: They planned and executed daily programming for children ages 5-13, including interactive activities, arts and crafts, sports games, and theatre, while also overseeing week-long camps and mission trips.
Mrs. Hall is eager to contribute to Rockford Area Schools by nurturing a vibrant learning environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and self-confidence. Her goal is to align with the school’s vision by helping students explore their artistic talents and navigate the complexities of the modern world through theatre. Mrs. Hall is dedicated to supporting students in both their academic and extracurricular endeavors, fostering strong relationships, and instilling a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
