Ms. Udalla

I am the seventh grade Language Arts teacher at Rockford Middle School - Center for Environmental Studies. 

Reading and writing have always been a meaningful part of my life, and that passion is what inspired me to become a 7th grade LA teacher. I love how books allow us to explore different perspectives, cultures, and experiences while helping us better understand ourselves and others. Writing gives students a voice—it allows them to express their ideas, tell their stories, and think critically about the world around them.

My goal is for every student to leave my classroom as a stronger reader, a more confident writer, and someone who understands the power of words. 

Prior to teaching - I received my Bachelors Degree from St. Could State University in Communication Arts and Literature, and my Masters Degree from Mankato State University in K-12th grade Reading. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in creative writing at Concordia University in St. Paul. 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my dog, reading, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles, and building LEGOs.
