Animal Science II

Course Description

This course is designed to provide students with an intense look at livestock and production practices. Students will be introduced to the concepts of anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and feeding as they apply to the study of animal science. Students will also learn about animal reproduction with information regarding genetics, biotechnology, and different animal breeding systems, including artificial insemination, embryo transfer and evening cloning. Students will also be exposed to different career opportunities that are available with the above concept areas.
