Mrs. Rasset's First Grade Class

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Rasset, and I am very excited to be teaching for my ninth year, at Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School. I grew up in Annandale, where I graduated from High School. I continued my education and graduated from St. Cloud State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and an emphasis in Social Studies. At St. Cloud State I was named to the Dean's List for several semesters and graduated with Cum Laude Honors. I student taught with first graders in Minneapolis, where I gained a strong passion for teaching first grade! I also graduated from St. Mary's University with my Masters Degree in Education.

I believe that a teacher is someone who inspires dreams, challenges minds, and positively impacts students over a life time. I love to come to school everyday and watch as students grow in their learning.

Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School is a wonderful learning environment with supportive staff, parents, and community! I am so excited to be a part of a wonderful and dedicated school!
