Mrs. Oliverius

Hello!

This is my ninth year at RMS-CES and I am very excited to be returning to a wonderful staff teaching 5th Grade Science! I grew up in Hopkins, MN and attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities for my undergraduate degree. I received my degree in Biology, Society, and Environment with a minor in History of Science and Technology. After graduating, I found my niche in teaching environmental science in outdoor settings. I taught out in Washington State on Orcas Island before moving back to Minnesota to teach at Long Lake Conservation Center.

I then made the decision to return to school at the University of Minnesota, Duluth and obtain my teaching license in High School Biology and Middle School Science. After graduating in 2015, I taught in Princeton, MN for one year before finding Rockford Middle School. I graduated from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in the summer of 2019.

Some of my hobbies include; my yellow lab named Mac, hiking, reading, and watching sports.
