Hi my name is Brenda Oeding and I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten at  Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School! I graduated from St. Ambrose University in 2013 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. This is my eight year teaching at REAMS.  I love teaching kindergarten! The students are always so excited to learn new things and they have the best imaginations. 

My educational philosophy is to create a loving and safe environment where all students feel welcome and to make learning fun and exciting. I want students in my class to become life long learners!  I believe that learning should be hands on, and engaging. Also I  love to use music and movement when teaching. I am excited for a new adventure this year!
