Mr. Mickelson

I teach eighth and ninth grade mathematics at Rockford Area Schools. I teach 8th Grade Algebra and Non-Linear Algebra at Rockford Middle School - Center for Environmental Studies. 8th Grade Algebra is Linear Algebra and students will be working with equations, graphs, and tables that all represent straight lines. Non-Linear Algebra means the content represents both straight and curved lines and graphs.

I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and have taken Master courses through Walden University. I am licensed for grades 7-12 and have been teaching at Rockford Schools since 2000. I have taught all mathematics courses at both the middle and high schools. My prep time is from 12:30 to 1:20. I can best be reached at RMS from 7:20 to 7:45 or from 3:00-3:20 at RHS when not in meetings.
