Ms. Mattson

I am the district Learning & Innovation Specialist. I am also a Link Crew Coordinator and the Personal Project Coordinator for Rockford High School. 

Professional Profile

I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2003 with a degree in English.  After completing my undergraduate degree, I continued my education at the U to earn my teaching license (2004) and, eventually, my master's degree (2006). I earned a graduate certificate in Universal Design for Learning in May 2021. 

My teaching career began at Rockford High School in 2004.  In 2023, I became the district Learning & Innovation Specialist and continued teaching English. The 2025-2026 school year is my first in the Learning & Innovation role full-time, aside from an Intro to Education elective.
