Mrs. Mateyka

Welcome to 5th grade! I will be teaching 4 sections of Language Arts and 1 section of Social Studies this year.  I am excited to teach your child in my 28th year here in the Rockford School District.  My education includes a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Kindergarten endorsement from St. Cloud State University. I have a Masters in Gifted Education from Saint Mary's University. My husband, Jeff and I live in Becker. We have two children. Olivia is a registered nurse at Brainerd Hospital,  and Jordan has his own business. My hobbies include running, reading, cards/board games, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. As your child's teacher, I believe he/she has a right to learn and a right to feel safe. My hope is to provide your child with lifelong learning experiences and opportunities!
