Welcome to 1st grade!

Hi! I am Cara Tensen. I am looking forward to being your child's first grade teacher this year! 

I went to Winona State University for my undergrad. I love learning and eventually went back to get my master degree from St. Mary's University. My first teaching job was in kindergarten in Marshall, MN. Then I was lucky to come to Rockford! I taught 2nd grade for five years. This will be my third year teaching 1st grade! 

In first grade we will have a lot of fun and learn so much! We will use hands on materials and multi sensory approaches to learn. I also love to incorporate engaging learning games.
