Share whole class question-level results to discuss as a class.

After giving an assessment on InnerOrbit, go to your "Assignment Report". Scroll to the question matrix and hover over each question in the assessment. Discuss each question as a class, using some prompts like:
What connections can you make to this question with what we have been learning in class?
How did you use (pick a tagged Dimension, for example the CCC patterns) to answer this question?
Which incorrect answer actually seemed right? Why did it seem correct?
If you choose a different answer, what are you thinking now seeing the correct answer?

Click "Reports" > "Assignments" > 'View the Full Report"
Scroll to the question matrix
Hover over each question and explore
The dimension tags (bottom left)
Rates of selecting distractors (right side of screen)
Click on distractors to see which students selected which distractor
Either screenshare this view with your class or take quick screenshots to screenshare (be aware with live screensharing that students' scores might be visible)

From your Dimensions Report data, select specific standards to review using InnerOrbit's assessments.

Instead of randomly picking which standards to review before a state test, use the data you collected on InnerOrbit to guide you!
Dive into your Dimensions Report, which by default shows you all the data you collected this school year. In this default view, unpack the Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCIs) to the element level. You will see the specific standard each DCI is connected to in parentheses next to the element text (ex: HS-PS1-1).
Under the "Build" tab, search for those standards. Use InnerOrbit's pre-made formative assessments to create activities for that one focus standard.
Complete these assessments as a whole class (screensharing from your teacher computer) or in student groups as a way to reteach and review that focus standard (either by printing the assessment or assigning it for students to logon and complete online).
How-To:
Login to InnerOrbit
Click "Reports" > "Dimensions"
Scroll to the DCI section and unpack all your data down to the elements.
Pick elements to review and record which standards they are (in parenthesis - ex: MS-PS2-3)
Click "Build" and search for the standard in the search bar
Click on a "Scaffolded Formative" premade assessment
Select the green "use all questions" button
Click "view assessment" on top right of screen
Name & Save assessment
When ready to share with your class, go to the "Library" tab and decide to print, assign, or preview (depending on your activity)

Create activities with InnerOrbit's SEP Practice Problems, according to your SEP student data.
Description:
Building up students' proficiencies with the Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs) can go a long way towards students' performance on their state test. Since the SEPs spiral across many standards, spending the time to improve specific SEPs, according to your student data, is time well spent.
InnerOrbit's SEP Practice Problems are "content-agnostic", meaning students do not need any specific science content knowledge to engage. Each SEP Practice problem set focuses on one of the 8 SEPs. You have access to Elementary, Middle, and High School sets to differentiate as needed.
SEP Practice Problems can be used as a whole group reteaching, small group remedial work, stations, or even independent practice.
How-To:
Login to InnerOrbit
Click "Reports" > "Dimensions"
Scroll down to the Science and Engineering Practices (SEP) section
Click through the different SEPs to look at the specific elements assessed
Choose an SEP to focus on
Under "Build", click the "SEP Practice Problems" tile
Select a grade level
Select an SEP
Either click the green "use all questions" button or add specific questions to your assessment.
When ready to facilitate with students, go to your "Library" tab and assign, print, or preview.
