Google Certified Educator (GCE) is a program designed and managed by Google for educators who use G Suite for Education as part of their teaching and student learning. The program combines classroom experience with Google developed training resources and examinations that lead towards certification. Rockcastle County Schools is providing support to teachers who are pursuing this self paced certification program.

How Do I Obtain Certification?
1. Complete the Gsuite Fundamentals Training online modules in the Google Training Center.

2. Prepare for the exam by reviewing the Training Videos and
3. Use the G Suite Checklist and the Google Level 1 Self Assessment Template (copy to your drive) to verify that you are ready for the test in the training center.
4. Request a voucher code for the exam from Brandon Reynolds
5. Register for the exam. (at ProctorU) https://go.proctoru.com/registrations (use google for the institution)
(You may need to allow up to 24 hours to receive the confirmation)
6. Review the Test Taking Documents

7. install the proctoru extension from here. (If you wish to enable the proctoru extension in incognito mode so you can use incognito mode for the test. The howto doc is here)
8. Take the exam. (if you would like to Schedule a time at the Rockcastle Academy to take the test Email Brandon) I encourage everyone to do this!
9. Let Brandon Reynolds know how you did, we do not know unless you tell us! He will add you to the list of Google Certified Educators
