NCAA Registration

Do You Want to Play in the NCAA?

If you want to play NCAA sports at a Division I or II school, you need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. You can register by clicking this link. Students are encouraged to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center by the spring of their Junior year. Some students may be eligible for a fee-waiver for the cost of registering with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Please see your school counselor if you have questions about qualifying for a fee-waiver.

NCAA Eligibility is determined based upon the following elements:

  • Graduation from high school
  • Completing a minimum number of core courses
  • Obtaining a minimum GPA in those core courses
  • Achieving a minimum SAT or ACT -- make sure to send your scores to the NCAA using the code "9999"

Only certain courses are accepted by the NCAA eligibility center. If you are interested in playing at a division 1 or a division 2 school, you should meet with your counselor to ensure that you are meeting your requirements.

Note: the eligibility requirements have changed!

Here are documents from the NCAA that outline the NEW eligibility requirements necessary for Division 1 and Division 2.

You can now send an official copy of your transcript to the NCAA directly through parchment. See the video below for a step-by-step guide for how to do so.
