Is your food service fully anonymous? Yes! We never collect your name or address. The only information we need to know is how many people live in your household, and how many people in your household are kids, adults, or seniors.
Are your services free to use? Yes! All of our services are 100% free.
How does your food service differ from other food pantries? Our food service differs from other food pantries in two main ways. First, we emphasize anonymity and never collect any names or addresses. Second, we emphasize putting together meals that are not only filling and nutritious, but appetizing! Oftentimes, food from food pantries can seem like a collection of random canned items, not a yummy dinner. Food for Thought takes pride in curating cohesive, delicious meals.
Who runs Food for Thought? Food for Thought is fully student-led. The pantry is managed by a team of 9 student-interns, under the mentorship of a local teacher with extensive non-profit experience. To get to know us better, visit the "About" page!
