Due to Labor Day, we will be taking the night off at The LINK! Join us next week for a brand new series!
We're back at The LINK tonight and kicking off a NEW series!
Series Title: King and Kingdom
Week 1 Bottom Line: The King Has Come
Scripture: Mark 1:1-15
Description: Mark opens with a bold proclamation: the kingdom of God has arrived! Jesus begins His ministry by calling people to repentance and announcing that God’s reign is breaking into the world. In this session, we’ll discuss what it means to live under Jesus’ rule instead of our own and challenge students to reflect on who’s really on the throne of their lives.
Series Title: King and Kingdom
Week 2 Bottom Line: Power in Serving
Scripture: Mark 10:35-45
Description: In this passage, Jesus flips the world’s idea of greatness. He teaches that true greatness comes from serving others. This session challenges our culture’s view of success and power. Students will be encouraged to think about what it looks like to live as servants in their everyday lives, following Jesus’ example of humility and sacrifice.
Series Title: King and Kingdom
Week 3 Bottom Line: The Cost of Following Jesus
Scripture: Mark 8:34-38
Description: Jesus doesn’t sugarcoat the reality of following Him—it comes with a cost. He calls His disciples to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him. We’ll unpack what this means for students today and discuss how living for Jesus may require sacrificing comfort, popularity, or even our own desires. Students will be challenged to consider what it means to truly follow Jesus, even when it’s hard.
Series Title: King and Kingdom
Week 4 Bottom Line: Resurrection and Hope
Scripture: Mark 16:1-8
Description: The Gospel of Mark ends with the resurrection of Jesus, and it changes everything. In this session, we’ll explore the hope that comes from Jesus defeating death and how His resurrection offers us new life. Students will reflect on how the resurrection isn’t just a brief moment in history, but the start of a new story, and they’re invited to live in it.
Series Title: Image
Week 1 Bottom Line: Deny Yourself
Scripture: Mark 8:34-38; John 3:25-30
Description: This session exposes just how fragile the images we project really are. Students will see Jesus’ call to deny themselves and see John the Baptist as an example of humility. Students will be challenged to surrender the image they’re protecting and choose to reflect Jesus instead.
Series Title: Image
Week 2 Bottom Line: Broken
Scripture: Luke 18:35-43; 1 Timothy 1:15-16
Description: This session shows how we often use the image we project to cover up our brokenness. Students will see through the story of the blind beggar in Luke 18 that we’re invited to bring our brokenness honestly to Jesus, who meets us where we are with mercy and compassion.
Wear your funniest, most unique, or interesting costume to be entered into our annual costume contest! Please keep all costumes church-appropriate. No revealing, gory, or scary costumes permitted.

Week 3 Bottom Line: Fruit
Scripture: Luke 6:43-45; Philippians 1:27
Description: This session challenges students to examine the gap between what they claim to believe and how they actually live. Through Luke 6, students learn that their actions reveal what’s in their hearts and will be challenged to pursue a true heart transformation rather than managing their image.
