Rockaway Borough's Gifted and Talented program aims to support individuals who would benefit from challenges above and beyond grade level expectations and standards. Pursuant to NJ regulations, G&T services are implemented in grades K-8. In Rockaway Borough, enrichment is achieved in PreK-3 through push-in whole class instuction in the classroom that is differentiated as per student needs and abilities. In grades K-8, G&T services are also pull-out and provided to students that have been identified through the use of a district identification process as needing services through Gifted and Talented. Once identified, students will be continued to be monitored annually for the continuing appropriateness of the program.
