Rockingham Early College has an instructional coach which provides support to teachers in employing diverse and effective instructional practices. Teacher modeling and in-services (PDs) are used to ensure that differentiation, extension, and enrichment are provided to the gifted students. This can include any of the following:

Training on teaching practices for the instructional coaches, teachers, and administrators
Instructional coach planning time with teachers
Flexible use of teaching approaches
Equitable services for unidentified students from underrepresented populations
Combinations of approaches used during a lesson to meet the needs of students
Grades 9-12 AIG Services
At the high school level, students receive instruction and enrichment through their content teacher. The Instructional Coaches can help teachers plan appropriate services for gifted learners. Students are also encouraged to explore enrichment outside of the classroom through after-school clubs and events.
Through Collaboration Around Student Achievement (CASA) and department meetings, teachers analyze data to form flexible groups, such as for acceleration, enrichment, extension, and remediation. The following assessments are utilized:
