Meet the Director

Mrs. Marcy Pyrtle is the Director of Choirs at Morehead High School in Eden, NC. She has been at Morehead since Fall 2022. Mrs. Pyrtle received her undergraduate degree in Music Education with a concentration in vocal music from the Appalachian State University. Outside of the Morehead Choirs, Mrs. Pyrtle performs with a number of local organizations including the Theater Guild of Rockingham County, and Reidsville Christian Church. She also plays piano and violin.
