Dalton McMichael offers a variety of Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) Classes.
Honors Courses are weighted with one-half extra quality point towards GPA.

Reading – Writing – Analysis
AP test – Students are expected to take the AP Exam in May if they are enrolled in the course. College credit will vary for students scoring a 3, 4, or 5 on the exam.

Stem Academy
The Phoenix STEM (Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics) Academy at McMichael High School seeks to develop strong content knowledge in math and science along with the design thinking and technical skills that will prepare students for an array of STEM related fields. The STEM Academy seeks to create engineers who think like artists and artists who think like engineers. In doing so, the Academy will produce the most in demand 21st Century skill- creative problem solving.
