Why should I join the PTA?
The PTA serves as a platform for parent and teacher involvement within our school. Members are needed to provide guidance regarding the organization’s priorities and goals. By joining, you get to vote on the many important decisions made by the PTA. The PTA also provides a forum for access to teachers and administration, and gives you insight on what is happening within the school.
Why do I need to pay a fee to join the PTA?
The MNSync Online PTA is a not-for-profit organization that is local, but is also part of a larger state and national organization. We have to collect dues for our membership, as stated in the bylaws of the organization. The majority of your paid dues remains local and supports us here at RPS Online. A small portion of the dues goes to support the state and national organizations that work to address laws that affect our schools and our education system. However, we retain all of the money we raise within the school, and we make our own decisions regarding our budget.
But, I’m too busy to join the PTA…
If you have five minutes to fill out a form, you are not too busy. There is no pressure to attend meetings or volunteer. If you join, you are supporting us. We would like to encourage you to start small….

We’re offering both paper and online sign up & payment options for our members to join through. Membership dues are at the low price of $10 per individual member. This membership will cover the $6.65 fees to State & National PTA, the remainder will be used toward funding student enrichments & staff appreciation.
To Join the PTA for the 24-25 school year via online registration and payment:

This is where you will fill out information and submit payment for each member signing up.
If you’re registering more than 1 member, please fill out information & add each person to the cart separately for each member.
If you’re interested in an optional donation to the PTA, please choose the donation spot in the online store & fill out information, amount etc. & add to cart in addition to your membership selection.
Process & submit the payment once your cart is complete.
You will receive a receipt via email & a link to download your PTA Membership Card.
If you'd like to fill out a paper membership form & submit your payment via check/cash to the school instead. Please download & print the form attached below.
If you have any issues with the form, online payments & need to register another way, please contact our PTA Secretary at mnsynconlineptasecretary@gmail.com to make mail-in arrangements.
