Kieran Powers

I do track & field and cross country as my main sports during the year. I like to stay really active outside of school when I run and go to meets for track and cross country. I also really love learning and reading. When I graduate, I want to go into the science field and eventually change the world.

Leyah Wallace

Hi, I'm Leyah. I've gone to Rochester for 4 years now, and plan to continue a path in journalism at Illinois State University. I spend the majority of my free time teaching and taking dance at Dance Creations Dance Studio where I am finishing out my 15th and last season. I'm very excited to see where Journalism takes me. 

Alex Trello

My name is Alex Trello and my plans for after graduation are to finish getting my cosmetology license and then pursue a career being an editorial makeup artist. Outside of school, I enjoy doing anything art or cosmetology-related. I am also on a competitive tumbling team. I like thriller movies, the color pink, rollercoasters, and hanging out with my dogs. 

Dylan Estes

My name is Dylan Estes and I am 17 years old. I currently work at both SGC (Springfield Gymnastics Center), and I clean for Safe Harbor Properties where I maintain the common areas of 14 apartment buildings. I'm a very physically fit person. I love to workout, hangout with friends, and make music. I play soccer, I also wrestle. I have been competing in both sports for my entire high school career. I live with my mom and my sister. I am the oldest child.

My passion is music and content creation! Over the past several years, I have taken the dive into both of these things and really take it seriously. I love that anyone has the ability to both highlight the positive and the negative in things through music and content creation. Usually, it is best to show and talk about the positive things happening. As I am making music and creating content, I strive to do just that.

With the vast knowledge I have from the past year's, I've really learned how to do thing's the best way possible. As a student of the journalism class I've really been able to implement all of my knowledge and everything I know! I'm truly looking forward to continuing with what I've done and to keep expanding my knowledge while keeping a truthful and positive presence.

Raegan Reynolds

I plan to further my education at Eastern Illinois University in Elementary Education. When I am not at school I like to play golf, and attend concerts and music festivals with my friends. 

Clara Hunt

Journalism student that spends her time reading, writing, and keeping up with her physical and mental health. She does not have any current plans after graduation, but would like to continue her journey in sports news and writing. Most of her free time is spent with her family or her loved ones.

Olivia Heiple

This upcoming fall I will be attending Illinois State University to get a degree in Marketing Integrated Communications. After school I hope to use my marketing knowledge to successfully run my photography business. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, working as a social media coordinator at Haes Bakery & Coffee Shoppe, and running my own photography business. 

Nathan Tuttle

I’m a Rochester student and LLCC undergraduate. I have a passion for connecting with people, accompanied by a strong drive to implement change within my capabilities. As a member of the Journalism 425 class, I aspire to create fun, engaging social media content in order to unite our student body. 

Micah Hicks

A student at Rochester with a passion for music with his involvement in the Madrigals group. Loves to spend time drawing or taking pictures of scenery of the outdoors. Plans to live life as happily as possible by doing what their wants and hobbies are.

Hi my name is Rachel. I participate in cheer leading through the high school. After graduation I plan to enjoy my summer with friends before moving to ISU to study Criminal Justice. Outside of school I enjoy hanging out with friends and getting coffee.  

Lauren Nafziger

I have been a dancer since I was four. I enjoy reading, being with friends, and spending time with my mom. After graduation, I plan to attend SEMO for my bachelor's degree. I plan to pursue a career in teaching social sciences.  

Cidney Owens

I may not be involved in any sports or extracurriculars, but I do have plans for after graduation. I plan to pursue a career in computer science. I have applied to Lincoln Land Community College and after I graduate from there I will most likely go to Bradley University. I want to go to Bradley University because I would major in Computer Science - Game Technology. I am very interested in video games and would love to pursue a career in video games.

I am taking the Cosmetology program at CACC. I want to attend Lincoln Land after high school. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends. I enjoy baking with my grandma.
