For this mini- project, you will be assigned a Hispanic urban legend from a list and do some basic research about it. You must include
the name of your legend
a short summary in English of your legend.
what country the story comes from
one interesting fact you find about your legend while researching
Describe the legend in Spanish. You should write at least 4 sentences, and they should be at least 5 words long each. You need to use ser and estar at least two times each (you could also use tener if you need to apart from ser and estar BUT it does not count towards using ser or estar). Things to consider when writing the description:
What does the legend or creature look like?
Where the legend is often found?
What is the legend feeling?
What actions is the legend known for doing?
Write a short, original story about your legend in ENGLISH. It should be 300 - 500 words. Please write this story on a separate google doc and link it in your slides. Possible ideas:
A story about someone encountering your legend
A story about how your legend was created
A trailer script for a movie about your legend
A new ending to your story
Then, you must present your Urban legend to the class in English, except the physical description will be in Spanish. You must include all the information on your Google Slide presentation about your legend, and it must last at least 3:00 long. For the story you wrote, you may either read it during your presentation, or you may record yourself reading the story and link the recording in your presentation.
