Roch Enterprises (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Pre Record Camera collects, uses, shares, and protects information. It also explains how the App uses the camera, microphone, and Android foreground services for its user-started rolling-buffer feature.
Pre Record Camera lets users keep a temporary rolling video and audio buffer so they can save moments that occurred immediately before they tapped Record. Camera and microphone media is processed locally on the device. We do not upload or store your recordings or temporary buffer media on our servers.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A. Media and information you provide
We do not collect or upload your:
- Photos
- Videos
- Audio recordings
- Contacts
- Messages
- Personal files
Saved clips and temporary buffer media remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share a clip using another app or service.
B. Information collected automatically
The App and its service providers may process limited technical, usage, advertising, and purchase information, including:
- Device model, operating-system version, app version, and device capabilities
- App interactions and usage statistics
- Crash logs, diagnostics, and performance information
- Approximate region derived from technical information; the App does not request precise GPS location
- Advertising ID and ad-interaction information, where permitted
- Purchase, subscription, product, and entitlement information
- Device or installation identifiers used for analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, and service operation
C. Information we do not intentionally collect
We do not intentionally collect:
- Facial-recognition or biometric data
- Precise GPS location
- Health information
- Payment-card numbers
- The contents of your saved videos, audio, or temporary rolling buffer
2. CAMERA, MICROPHONE, AND ANDROID FOREGROUND SERVICE USE
Pre Record Camera uses:
- Camera permission to display the preview and capture video
- Microphone permission to capture synchronized audio
- Storage or media access, where required by the Android version, to save and manage clips on your device
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE to keep a user-started rolling camera and microphone buffer active when the App is backgrounded or the screen is locked
Camera and microphone capture never starts automatically. Capture begins only after you grant the required permissions and explicitly tap “Start Buffer” in the App or use an enabled user-controlled capture action.
After you start the buffer, capture may continue when you switch apps or lock the screen. Android displays a persistent notification while the camera and microphone foreground service is active. The notification identifies the active capture and provides an action to stop buffering or stop and save an active recording. You can also stop capture inside the App.
The task must start immediately when you tap Start Buffer because the purpose of the feature is to begin preserving the most recent moments from that point forward. A delayed start could cause expected video or audio to be missed. The rolling buffer must run continuously; pausing or restarting it would create gaps, break synchronized audio and video, and make a saved pre-event clip incomplete.
The foreground service ends when you stop the buffer, stop and save the recording, or the App ends capture because of an error or system limitation.
Pre Record Camera does not:
- Start the camera, microphone, or buffer automatically
- Capture secretly or without Android’s visible privacy indicators and foreground-service notification
- Upload the camera feed, microphone audio, recordings, or buffer media to our servers
- Permanently save temporary buffer media unless you choose to save a clip
3. ROLLING-BUFFER STORAGE AND RETENTION
The rolling buffer temporarily stores a limited amount of recent video and audio on your device. Older temporary segments are overwritten as the buffer continues.
Temporary buffer files:
- Remain on the device
- Are used only to provide the rolling-buffer and clip-saving feature
- Are overwritten as the buffer advances
- Are deleted when no longer needed, including after buffering stops, subject to normal device and app-cleanup behavior
Saved clips remain on your device until you delete them. If you export or share a clip, the receiving app or service processes it under its own privacy policy.
4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use limited non-media information to:
- Operate and improve the App
- Provide and troubleshoot the rolling-buffer and recording features
- Verify purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements
- Measure feature usage and app performance
- Diagnose crashes and technical problems
- Display and measure advertising, where applicable and permitted
- Prevent fraud and protect the App and its services
We do not sell your personal information or use the contents of your recordings for advertising, analytics, or artificial-intelligence training.
5. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND DATA SHARING
The Android version may use:
- Google AdMob for advertising
- Google Play Services and Firebase for app services, analytics, crash reporting, and diagnostics
- Mixpanel for product and usage analytics
- RevenueCat and Google Play Billing for purchases, subscriptions, and entitlement validation
- Google’s User Messaging Platform for consent choices in applicable regions
These providers may process limited device, usage, advertising, diagnostic, purchase, and network information as needed to provide their services. They process information under their own privacy policies and contractual terms.
We do not provide these services with the contents of your camera feed, microphone capture, saved clips, or temporary rolling buffer.
6. CONSENT AND ADVERTISING
Where required, the App may present a consent form that allows you to choose personalized or non-personalized advertising and manage your preferences. Advertising identifiers and ad data are processed only as permitted by applicable law, your consent choices, and device settings.
You may reset or restrict your Advertising ID through Android settings and may manage consent again where the App provides that option.
7. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information processed, including:
- Android application sandboxing and device-level protections
- Local processing and storage of camera and microphone media
- Encrypted HTTPS connections to service providers
- Reputable billing, analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, and consent providers
No electronic system is completely secure, but we design the App so that camera and microphone media does not need to be uploaded to our servers.
8. DATA RETENTION
- Saved clips remain on your device until you delete them.
- Temporary buffer files are overwritten or deleted when they are no longer needed.
- Analytics, advertising, crash, diagnostic, purchase, and subscription information is retained according to our operational needs and the retention policies of the applicable service provider.
- We do not maintain servers containing your recorded video, audio, or temporary buffer media.
9. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing and to withdraw consent.
You can:
- Stop the camera and microphone buffer at any time through the App or persistent notification
- Revoke camera or microphone permission in Android settings
- Manage advertising consent and reset or restrict your Advertising ID
- Delete saved clips from your device
- Uninstall the App to stop future collection
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play

Because recordings and temporary buffer media remain on your device and are not collected by us, we generally cannot access or delete that media for you.
10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Pre Record Camera is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@rochenterprises.in.
11. INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, which may include the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA. Residents of applicable jurisdictions may contact us to exercise their legal rights. We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or service providers. We will update the Effective Date and publish the revised policy at:
