Roch Enterprises (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Flashback Cam collects, uses, and protects information across all countries, including compliance with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, and Google Play policies.
Flashback Cam is a camera app that allows users to record video and save past moments using a buffer system. All media processing happens on your device only.
Flashback Cam collects the minimum data required to operate.
We do not collect personal data such as:

Files
All captured media remains on your device, never uploaded to our servers.

Flashback Cam requires:
Camera Permission – To show live preview and record video.
Microphone Permission – To record audio along with video.
Storage Access – To save videos on your device.
Flashback Cam does NOT:
Record automatically
Record in background
Record when screen is off
Upload camera feed to servers
Transmit any media or audio off-device
Flashback Cam includes a rolling video buffer feature.
The buffer activates only when you tap “Start Buffer.”
It temporarily stores the last N seconds of video so you can save recent moments.
Flashback Cam does NOT:
Start buffer automatically
Save buffer without user action
Store buffer on remote servers
Record anything without visible UI
Record secretly or silently
All buffer data:
Is stored temporarily
Exists inside your device memory or local storage
Is deleted automatically when overwritten
Never leaves your device
We use collected data for:
App functionality
Subscription validation
Crash and performance analytics
Showing ads (if user consents)
Security and fraud prevention
Improving app performance
We do not sell or rent personal data.

Flashback Cam is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Flashback Cam may use Google’s UMP (User Messaging Platform) for consent in applicable regions.
EU/EEA users may see a consent dialog asking:

Or to manage preferences later
Ads will not load where required until consent is obtained or a legitimate basis is established.
We protect data through:
Device-level OS encryption
No media uploads to our servers
Secure communication channels (HTTPS) with Google services
Relying on trusted billing and ad providers (Google)
However, no system is 100% secure. By using the app, you accept the inherent risks of online services and mobile platforms.
Video recordings: Stored only on your device, until you delete them.
Buffer files: Temporary and auto-deleted when overwritten or when you stop buffering.
Crash/analytics data: Retained per Google’s retention policies.
Subscription data: Retained by Google Play for billing and legal compliance.
We do not store media content on our own servers.
Flashback Cam complies with the EU Digital Services Act principles regarding fair design.
We do not:
Hide cancel buttons
Force you into subscriptions
Use fake countdown timers
Use misleading labels on buttons
Make it difficult to cancel or refuse paid features
Subscription prices, terms, and renewal conditions are always clearly displayed.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in time.
Free trials, if available, convert automatically to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.
Cancellation is managed via Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions.
We do not process or store payment card details; all payments are handled by Google Play.
You can:
Withdraw ad consent (where applicable) via consent dialog or device settings.
Reset your Advertising ID via system settings.
Delete videos and recordings directly from your device.
Uninstall the app to stop data collection and use.
Request information about or deletion of non-media data (such as logs) that might be associated with your usage, subject to technical feasibility and legal requirements.
