In the years that followed, I completed 24 out of 36 credits before embarking on the wonderful journey of motherhood. Since then, I have completed two more graduate courses through Walden University: The Adolescent Brain and Motivating Students to Read (both of which were geared toward teachers of grades 6-12).

Teaching Experience: In the 2006-2007 school year, I began as a teacher’s aide at Eisenhower Middle School in Wyckoff, NJ. Midway through that year, I took over as the 7th and 8th-grade reading teacher and remained in that position until the end of the school year. In September 2007, I came to Midland School. Since then, I have taught a variety of middle grades Language Arts & Literature (at the honors and regular levels), Standardized Test Prep, Public Speaking, and even Social Studies classes here at Midland.
