Students will be continue to build from the knowledge they gained from Math 1. In this course, students will learn to critically solve problems that cover the following topics: Exponents and Roots, Polynomials and Factoring, Quadratic Functions, Solving Quadratic Equations, Quadratic Equations and Complex Numbers, Relationships in Triangles, Quadrilateral and other Polygons, Similarity and Right Triangles, Probability, Coordinate Geometry, applying theorems to circles, and Two and Three-Dimensional Models.
Students are expected to attend all three virtual meetings on a weekly basis.
Virtual meetings are the Virtual Lesson on Monday, the Virtual Office Hour on Tuesday, and the Virtual Check-in on either Wednesday or Friday.
Students are highly encouraged to participate during virtual meetings.
Participation consists of asking questions, asking for help, helping another student, explaining their work and responding to a question.
Students may earn up to 5 points per week for submitting their weekly assignments.
Assignments must be well written, must show all the work, and must be submitted on time via Google Classroom.
Students may earn up to 100 points per Topic Test.
Students must take the Topic Test at the end of each Topic.
Tests must be submitted on time for full credit.
All the work must be shown on the test for full credit.
