Violence and bullying is increasing at a more rapid rate at schools in the recent years. Many children are hurt and do not want to go to school as a result. As educators we believe that it is our duty to struggle with violence and bullying. This is the idea that our project stands on. Non-violent communication ( NVC ) is a way of communication developed by Marshall Rosenberg in his so called book. Non-violent communication suggests that all our actions are the results of an underlying need or needs. So in times of a conflict , if we can connect with our needs we can find an equal and fair solution to satisfy the both parties' needs. In the first step of the model you express how you observe a situation like a video recording without blaming or judgement. Because when there is blaming or judgement in our expressions, the listener hears it as a criticism and resists what we say. The second step is expressing how we feel ( not opinions ) in that situation, again without blaming or judgement with all our fragility. The third step is expressing our needs lying under those feelings. Because negative feelings are mostly the results of unfulfilled needs. The fourth step is expressing a request which can satisfy the needs of both parties. Requests are not demands. Because in demands we do not accept "no" as a response. But in requests we accept yes and no equally. We do not take the "no" response personal. Because NVC suggests that there are always alternative ways of fulfilling our needs. If the other party says no to our request, we can find another strategy to fulfill our needs. This is how NVC works on the whole. We would very like to teach this language to our students, teachers and parents so that they can practice and integrate it into their daily lives.

We believe when students, teachers and parents learn how to communicate in a non-violent way, we will have a more peaceful educational area. We will have less conflicts or we will know how to solve a conflict when it occurs. When we know how to settle down our disagreements in a peaceful way, we will have more time to deal with academic, social, cultural, digital, environmental and cooperational skills. This is why we think our project should be funded. We also believe we can enhance awareness on environment and climate change by using non-violent language. While doing our activites we will use digital technologies as much as we can. Therefore we will be digitally more competent. Our cross-border mobilities will help us learn different cultures and have a deeper understanding on the European identity and languages. We will enhance inclusion by supporting our disadvantaged students. We are less experienced organizations or newcomers to the programme. Therefore we highly wish to make an Erasmus+ project to enhance the quality of our organizational capacities at transnational level.
