STEAM day at Neshobe School is a yearly event for the 5th grade, where students choose from a variety of workshops on science, technology, engineering, art, and math topics offered by teachers and community members. The 5th graders then spend a full school day immersed in the STEAM workshop of their choice, and the next morning reflecting on their learning. In 2018, we expanded STEAM day to include two full days of workshops with afternoon reflection and sharing time, and the option to visit Stafford Technical Center on a field trip.
This is a powerful, hands-on learning experience that many students say is one of their favorite days of the year. For a deeper look at some of the workshops we have offered, through photographs, videos, and student reflections, click the workshop title from the menu above.

We're always looking for more people to participate in STEAM day---especially because we hope to continue expanding the learning opportunity over time!
